Afghanistan Defeated by India in Asian Rugby Championship

Afghanistan’s national rugby team suffered a defeat in their second match of the Asian Rugby Championship against India.
In their second appearance in the tournament, the Afghan players faced off against the Indian national team today (Saturday) and were ultimately defeated with a heavy score of 26–5.
Earlier today, in their opening match of the tournament, Afghanistan went up against Lebanon and managed to secure a close 14–12 victory.
The tournament, featuring 13 participating nations—including Afghanistan, Bahrain, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia—kicked off today for a two-day run in Muscat, the capital of Oman.
