Afghanistan’s national volleyball team lost to Turkmenistan in their third match of the Central Asia Zone Championship held on Friday.

The Afghan players entered the court but were ultimately defeated 3–1 by the Turkmen team.

In their two previous matches, the Afghan team also lost to Sri Lanka but secured a win against the Maldives.

Afghanistan is scheduled to face Nepal in their next match on Sunday.

The Central Asia Volleyball Championship is being held in a league format, featuring teams from Afghanistan, host Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, Turkmenistan, and Sri Lanka.
