Shamshad TV, one of Afghanistan’s major private broadcasters, resumed operations on Sunday afternoon after a brief suspension, the station said in a statement.
Broadcasts were halted Friday night for unspecified reasons. In Sunday’s statement, Shamshad said its leadership had engaged with “relevant institutions” to reach a “mutual understanding” that allowed programming to restart.
