The Spin Boldak border crossing has been temporarily reopened for returning migrants, according to Taliban‑run national broadcaster.
The crossing had been closed for about a week amid intense border clashes between Taliban and Pakistani forces.
Pakistan has continued the deportation of Afghan migrants despite calls for a pause in the process.
Figures by the Taliban-run commission for refugees show that Pakistan has deported more than 3,000 migrants on a daily basis over the past weeks.
