Jets heard over Kabul hours after reported airstrikes

A Kabul resident said military jets were flying over the city Wednesday night and shared a video with Amu capturing the sound of aircraft overhead.

The resident said the video was recorded around 9:15 p.m. local time and appeared to show jets patrolling the skies.

The sighting came just hours after two explosions were reported in Kabul earlier in the afternoon. Pakistan’s state broadcaster later claimed the blasts were the result of airstrikes by the Pakistani military.
