In several provinces of the country, thousands of people have declared their support for the forces of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
They say that the bravery of their forces in the confrontation with Pakistan is commendable, and Pakistan’s actions in violating Afghanistan’s airspace are intolerable to them.
These citizens gathered today in various provinces, with young people, tribal elders, and influential figures among them.
Dawood Khan Hamdard, a resident of Kunar, said: “If Pakistan had not violated our territory, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan would not have been compelled to carry out such attacks against them.”
Mohammad Nader, a resident of Nangarhar, stated: “We share borders with other neighbors as well, yet our relations with them have not deteriorated. This shows the problem is not with us but with Pakistan, as it has always been the source of problems.”
Tribal elders, religious scholars, and other citizens declared that the violation of the country’s airspace is unacceptable to them and that they are prepared to make any sacrifice in this regard.
Tawos Khan Akhundzada, a tribal elder in Kunar, said: “Afghanistan is the graveyard of empires. Pakistan should learn from Afghanistan’s history and stop harassing Afghans.”
Muslim Haidari, a resident of Paktia, said: “It is the legitimate right of the Islamic Emirate and the people of Afghanistan to defend every inch of their land and territory.”
Some other citizens said Pakistan has always treated Afghanistan like an enemy and has frequently targeted civilians’ homes during conflicts.
Fazl Subhan, a resident of Kunar, stated: “Children sleep peacefully at night, but they bomb and deprive them of sleep. Such actions by Pakistan are no longer tolerable, and we will stand against them.”
Wahidullah, a resident of Paktia, said: “Whether men or women in Paktia, we all stand shoulder to shoulder with the officials and forces of the Emirate under any circumstances.”
The Islamic Emirate, in response to Pakistan’s violation of Afghanistan’s airspace and its attack on Paktika, carried out retaliatory strikes against Pakistan, which were widely welcomed by the Afghan people.
